According to the Wiki (link) he pops at F-7, but it suggested to fight him at the tower at J-9 using a similar strat that we use with Iriz Ima.... it's a really long run, but could be done with Gravity I think fairly easily. We just have to make sure to do it during the day, and they suggest keeping to the Northern wall in order to avoid other agro. Kiting it here would also give us access to the Halvung zone should a mage need to reset hate.

Wiki Notes:

# Spawned by trading an Olzhiryan Cactus to a ??? at (F-7) in Bhaflau Thickets on Map 1.
# Has about 40,000HP.
# Has alliance hate.
# Criticals up to 500, if tanked straight. Blink tanking recommended.
# Bind and Stun work well to give kiter distance.
# Gravity is fairly easy to keep on, but begins to wear very quickly after about the 5th cast, to wear timers will not be up. Multiple members with Gravity recommended if doing this without a PLD.
# Can drop multiple Cletine, Oracle's Pigaches and Enkidu's Subligar.
# Oracle's Pigaches seem to be a very high drop rate.
# Moves at a slightly increased movement speed, about +6%. Able to kite with movement speed+.
# Has a slight Auto-Regen.
# Has TP regen.
# Susceptible to slow, paralyze, elegy, gravity, bind, and stun.
# Has all the normal Wivre TP moves, plus:

* Crippling Slam - AoE physical damage plus very strong paralyze. Stunnable, absorbed by Utsusemi.

# Training Dea to the tower/whitegate zone at J-9 and kiting it around the watchtower is highly recommended for a small group. Pop during daylight if you are going to do this, the most dangerous and hardest to avoid links are fomors near tower. Most enemies can be avoided sticking to the north wall.

* Mages can nuke and quickly zone into Whitegate and or nearby Halvung to reset hate.

I would suggest blms subbing /nin and trying this with a similar strategy as we do Iriz Ima. I would want to have a pld on standby for heals and to take on hate when needed

After actually doing this several times I can confirm that the original strategy is correct.

A few notes:


When pulling him you have to keep him in your sights at all times. He likes to go unclaimed and start to wander back to his spawn. You can stay ahead of him and keep sneak up to get past the treants fairly easily.

When kiting around the J-9 tower we learned that he takes really wide turns, and if you hug the wall you can stay ahead of him even without gravity on.

Gravity and bind will stop sticking about 15 minutes into the fight (our fights usually last about 30 mins)
